Kiwi Connect has accepted a special invitation to become the initial not-for-profit organisation to join the RealStew communications platform – a brand new Zealand innovation that is certainly poised to revolutionise just how the world communicates and interacts.
RealStew has cleverly integrated all the ways we connect online – chat, email, social media marketing, user groups, blogs and website – into one single internet page with the easy-to-use dashboard and all the apps you’ll ever have to connect, engage and interact with friends, family, customers and clients.
Kiwi Connect chairman Mike Jacobs said the Realstew platform is going to be area of the not-for-profit’s overall communications strategy, which include the internet site at www.kiwiconnect.org, Facebook page (kiwiconnect.org), Twitter (@kiwiconnect) and LinkedIn (kiwiconnect.org).
“We’re running with RealStew because we admire their vision and we’re thrilled to see a fresh Zealand company complete the Icehouse business incubator with such a modern platform,” Mr Jacobs said.
“We’ll be delighted if RealStew helps us connect each of the expats in our patch and enables us to engage along with them professionally.
“Our focus isn’t on building our network; it’s not about making money throughout the relationship; it’s chiefly about the product itself. We think our members will be interested in the platform along with the simplicity of obtaining all of their communication channels around the one browser. That’s pretty clever.”
RealStew will sponsor the MELTING POT portion of the Kiwi Connect website, promoting and provoking comment and insights from expat New Zealanders, and it has set up Kiwi Get connected to be the first community group to invite members to connect via RealStew.
“RealStew is as simple as invitation only,” Mr Jacobs said, “so we’re at the rrrealslew of connecting pioneers for the free chat, email and social networking aspects of the platform.
“We’re also allowing traditional Kiwi early adopters to become the first to purchase each of the RealStew apps and tools they have to make their lives easier, including the capability to blog or build a customised website.”
RealStew returns 54% of its revenue back to its members and Mr Jacobs says any cash earned by Kiwi Connect will be ploughed back to supporting its operations and enhancing events.
